Product Debut at Horror Con: Chainsaw Oven Mitt

Based on what was recently voted the greatest horror movie weapon of all time in a poll posted on Twitter by @C4Winnipeg this week, the chainsaw won hands down! It also caught the attention of Mr. Bruce Campbell (@GroovyBruce), who horror fans know as Ash from Evil Dead and Army of Darkness. It seems many have faith in the raw power of the saw!

So, how awesome that at first ever Horror Con in Winnipeg, Manitoba, folks also get to check out my first ever horror themed oven mitt?!? This is one thing Ash Williams might just keep hanging around inside the cabin.

I designed the chainsaw icon as I'm a huge fan of the Evil Dead movies (of course there are many other films that use the chainsaw for the murdering too) and had it printed up on some sturdy cotton fabric in red and black ink, then quilted the fabric of the palm. Once that is complete the top and bottom of the mitt are ready to be sewn together.

Each mitt is lined, and includes a double layer of batting for extra heat protection. This mitt is ready to save your hand from any evil burns, keeping your hand possession and demon free.
