I sometimes get a few moments to sew or design something near and dear to me, and that's the case with this Space Shuttle fabric!

Being a Space Enthusiast I just loved my Geekcation this summer, visiting 4 air and space museums, if you missed out on the highlights, you can catch them here. Viewing the Space Shuttle Discovery being one of those "bucket list" things for me was amazing! It was definitely the inspiration for my Shuttle Dot design!

Shuttle Dot Design

I just couldn't wait to get home from our wonderful holiday to get designing and I love how it turned out! From far away it can appear a polka dot, from close up though it is surely a shuttle.

It is now available at my Spoonflower Shop HERE in classic black and white or in the NASA blue and white! And remember, it can be purchased as fabric but also as wallpaper or gift wrap as well!

And the nerding doesn't stop there...especially when you find some blue ode-to-space items like the Shuttle, Gemini, Soyuz, etc. fabric at the store, you've just got to put it all together...

Freesia Foldover Bag

I'm in love with this pattern by Blue Calla Patterns, and have used it previously on a Doctor Who Lovers Foldover bag, and thought this fabric would just look so sharp paired with a great faux leather and smart white stitching.
