Spring Half Moon Market-Sat, April 29th-11am to 7pm

Half Moon Market 2017

I'm excited to be joining a fine assortment of talented Makers at the King's Head Pub for the first ever Spring installment of the Half Moon Market!

New hours for the Half Moon Market (11am-7pm) promise that shoppers of all varieties can enjoy the show! Spaning over happy hour adds more flexibility and enjoyment of the King's Heads fine libations, all while viewing, visiting and perhaps finding the most beautiful, unique or weird thing you ever saw from the talented and unique ranges of Makers.

I enjoy the Half Moon Market's agenda of supporting affordable table fees for Makers. This really opens up the door to all, and I've learned much from those who have been doing the crafting circuit for years and enjoyed helping out those who have just started and asked me some questions!

I will also be offering a very sweet show deal...so stay tuned! (Hint: they might include some of these adorable unicorn pencil pouches!)

Physical Accessibility Awareness

The Half Moon Market is also great as there are NO entry fees for anyone through the door, another organizational promise in allowing accessibility for all folks to attend.

I do find there is one barrier to accessibility and I have discussed this with Sheila, the organizer and Super Woman behind the show, which is the stairs, as the show is on the 2nd floor.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this at the time, and she graciously has volunteers assist me with my gear up and down the stairs. I'm super thankful for that assistance.

Sadly, this does leave those with mobility issues or those who are confined to wheelchairs unable to attend the event on the day.

Though, if there were items of mine you had wished to purchase, I would be more than happy to make a delivery to you free of charge! Please feel free to email me to make arrangements!

I'm sure by keeping an eye on the Half Moon Market Facebook Event Page should you see something you fall in love with or clicked on the links to Makers provided above, you can contact fellow Makers via email or Fb message to get some handmade, local goods!

Come and Celebrate Spring! And don't forget your Mama...

Just as you can't wait to spring out the door in flip flops and a short sleeve shirt, neither can us Makers! Bring your lovely Mother and have her find her own beautiful gift for an early Mother's Day treat!

We want to show you what we've been working on in the bitter cold and bleak midwinter that kept our hearts kindled and creative fires lit. We're bursting at the seams to show you!

It is your attendance, your friendly questions, and the purchase of our handmade, home crafted, brilliantly polished gifts and creations that keep us afloat in the local economy and help us to continue to shine more than you know!

Won't you join us and help us celebrate this first spring Half Moon Market?
